We wanted to get out of the heat and visit Dave's Aunt Phylis and here granddaughter who were visiting his parents in San Diego. Nice to cool down and play!

The Learning Pad Pre-School Open House and Brenden's First Day of Pre-Kindergarten

Our baby is growing up and is starting pre-kindergarten this Fall. Where has the time gone? This school year I will be volunteering as parent council treasurer. Should be interesting for sure.

First Anual Vegas Girls Trip

So we thought it would be fun to all meet up in Las Vegas after I was done with the Scentsy Convention. A lot of fun - hoping to do it again next year! Christine, Christine, Kat, Beth and Jen. What a great bunch of gals!

A Typical Summer Day for Us

Summer is here and it's hot! Thankfully we have a pool and we are gearing Brenden up for our upcoming trip to O'Ahu where we want him to be able to snorkel with us.

4th of July in San Diego

We had to beat the heat and make a quickie trip to San Diego for some family fun. Always nice to have the temperatures in the 70's. Happy Birthday America!

Grand Opening of Yuma's First Water Park

YAY! It's been a loooong time coming and now it's finally open! Waylon's Water World is awesome especially when it's 115 degrees outside and pirate themed! Brenden loves it!

First Swim Lessons

Floaty be gone! Brenden's first swim lessons and he was a little freaked out o.k a lot freaked out to put his head under the water. At the end of the two weeks though he could push off from the wall with his head under the water and dog paddle to the instructors. Very successful I think. Now he goes into our pool with us and improves on his distance a little each day.

Last day of lessons was a 'fun' day where they went into the deep end with life jackets.
